  The revision shall apply not only to the newly accepted students but also to the students already registered as scholars as of April 2024.

• On Friday December 6, the Exchange Meeting for the scholarship students and the Alumni Meeting in Kansai was held in Osaka.
  60 students from each nominated universities of Kansai Area and 22 alumni gathered in the party.
  13 people from student affairs office of the nominated universities were present.
  Ritsumeikan University students who acted as organizer of the entertainment session of the party, elaborated to arrange games to have all the persons enjoyed themselves at the party.

• On Saturday Novemberber 30, the Alumni Meeting was held in Tokyo.
  81 alumni who completed scholarship got together.
  11 scholarship students also joined them. Feeling of the party rose very high.

The Foundation has registered as Public Interest Incorporated Foundation.

• The Foundation has been applied for Public Interest Corporation Authorization and the Prime Minister has officially approved it recently. The Mitsubishi UFJ Trust Scholarship Foundation, then, have registered as the Public Interest Incorporated Foundation on November 1, 2010 and started new steps under the new laws.

• On Wednesday March 24, the Foundation celebrated the Completion Ceremony for the year of 2009 in Tokyo.
  Board members, Trustees, Guests together with a number of scholarship students attended.
  At the buffet-style party after the ceremony, many students chatted with their friends or with guests until quite late at night in a sociable atmosphere.

  The theme of the lecture was ' What do twins (binary star) tell?' and presented by Mr. Tomoyuki Hanawa, Professor, Center for Frontier Science, Chiba University.
  About 60 students listened seriously.
  Mr. Hanawa stayed with students at the buffet-style party after the lecture and answered the questions politely.

The First Exchange Meeting in Kanto Area for the year of 2009

• On Thursday October 29, the first Exchange Meeting for the students in the Kanto area was held in Tokyo.
  48 students attended and were eagar to listen to the lecture on 'The trend of measures for global warming and emission right business of Mitsubishi UFJ Trust Bank' by Ms. Sachiko Ai, Frontier Strategy Planning and Support Division, Mitsubishi UFJ Trust Banking and Corporation.
  The buffet-style party was held after the lecture and pleasant chat lasted till late at night.

The Alumni & Student Exchange Meeting in Hokkaido Area for the year of 2009

• On Wednesday October 7, the Exchange Meeting for the scholarship students and the Alumni Meeting in Hokkaido was held together in Sapporo.
  7 people from student affairs office of the nominated universities, 10 students from each nominated universities of Hokkaido area and 5 alumni gathered in the party.
  There were alumni who came all the way from Kanto area.
  All the persons enjoyed in a friendly atmosphere.

• On Monday October 5, the Exchange Meeting for the scholarship students and the Alumni Meeting in Tohoku was held together in Sendai.
  2 people from student affairs office of the nominated university, 11 students from the university of Tohoku area and 8 alumni gathered in the party.
  All the persons enjoyed comunicating each other beyond the ages.

The Adoption Ceremony for the year of 2009

• On Friday July 3, the Adoption Ceremony for the year of 2009 was held in Tokyo.
  Board members, Screening Committee Members, Guests together with 56 adopted students in Kanto area attended.
  This year total number of 127 students are selected at the screening committee.

The Completion Ceremony for the year of 2008

• On Tuesday March 24, the Foundation celebrated the Completion Ceremony for the year of 2008 in Tokyo.
  Board members, Trustees, Guests together with a number of scholarship students attended.
  At the buffet-style party after the ceremony, many students chatted with their friends or with guests until quite late at night in a sociable atmosphere.

The Alumni & Student Exchange Meeting in Kansai Area for 2008

• On Friday December 12, the Exchange Meeting for the scholarship students and the Alumni Meeting in Kansai was held at the same time in Osaka.
  10 people from student affairs office of the nominated universities were present.
  58 students from each nominated universities of Kansai Area and 18 alumni gathered in the party.
  Doshisha University students who acted as organizer of the entertainment session of the party, elaborated to arrange games to have all the persons enjoyed themselves at the party.

The Alumni Meeting in Kanto Area for the year of 2008

• On Saturday December 6, the Alumni Meeting was held in Tokyo.
  108 alumni who completed scholarship from 1982 to 2008 got together including the members who came all the way from Shizuoka, Aichi, Nara, Kyoto and Fukuoka.
  24 scholarship students also joined them. Feeling of the party rose very high.

The Third Exchange Meeting in Kanto Area for the year of 2008

• The third Exchange Meeting for the students in Kanto area was held on Monday December 1 in Tokyo.
  Mr. Hideaki Honjo, Real Estate Consulting Division, Mitsubishi UFJ Trust Banking and Corporation, gave a lecture on ' Recent Trend of Real Estate Market and Real Estate Business of the Bank.'
  About 50 students were interested to learn how property trust business is. 
  At the buffet-style party held later, students chatted or discussed in the friendly atmosphere.

The Second Exchange Meeting in Kanto Area for the year of 2008

• The second Exchange Meeting for the students in Kanto area was held in Tokyo.
  The theme of the lecture was ' Birth and Evolution of the Stars: Is it contingent or inevitable?' and presented by Mr. Tomoyuki Hanawa, Professor, Center for Frontier Science, Chiba University.
  About 55 students listened seriously.
  Mr. Hanawa stayed with students at the buffet-style party after the lecture and answered the questions politely.

  About 43 students attended and were eagar to listen to the lecture on 'Recent Business Environment in China' by Mr. Mitsuo Sugino, Chief Economist, Toyo Securities Co, Ltd.
  The buffet-style party was held after the lecture and pleasant chat lasted till late at night.
